Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in the work schedule to better accommodate your lifestyle. You will primarily interact with students, faculty, and families in a supportive educational setting. Although the majority of interactions will be virtual, you may also engage in in-person sessions as needed, ensuring robust support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your clinical expertise to independently assess and diagnose patients, establishing actionable psychosocial evaluations informed by evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate closely with students and their families to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using a variety of methodologies such as motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and solution-focused treatment to enhance client engagement.

• Communicate regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, psychologists, and medical professionals, to coordinate holistic care and ensure a seamless support system for each client.

• Monitor client progress diligently, utilizing systematic treatment response tracking methods and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications in partnership with prescribing providers by focusing on adherence, monitoring side effects, and evaluating overall efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
