Position Overview The Automotive Biller / DMV Clerk processes dealership transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all state DMV regulations and dealership policies. Key Responsibilities Process all new and used vehicle retail deals accurately and timely Process wholesale transactions and dealer trades (swaps) Review deal jackets for completeness and compliance Package funding contracts and maintain deal logs for accounting Post wholesale deals within required timelines Process manufacturer rebates and incentives Handle NVDR and RDR vehicle processing Process DMV paperwork within required state guidelines and deadlines Maintain accurate police books, plate books, and in‑transit records in accordance with New York State regulations Maintain detailed DMV logs and document tracking systems Submit registration and title documentation accurately and on time Coordinate DMV refunds and related accounting requests Ensure all required documentation is complete prior to releasing DMV paperwork Stock new and used vehicle inventory Enter information into dealership systems including VERIFY and DMS platforms Assist management with DMV compliance procedures and dealership processes Provide front desk and receptionist coverage on Saturdays Support accounting and administrative teams as needed Required Qualifications Automotive Billing Experience Strong knowledge of DMV rules, regulations, and processes Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and team‑oriented attitude Proficiency with computer systems and data entry Preferred Qualifications CDK Experience Automotive dealership accounting experience Vehicle registration and title processing experience Experience with dealer trades and wholesale transactions Accounting office experience Ideal Candidate Background Automotive Billers DMV Clerks Automotive Title Clerks Automotive Accounting Clerks Dealership Administrators Automotive Office Managers Automotive Accounting Specialists Vehicle Registration Clerks Dealer Trade Coordinators Automotive Compliance Administrators Benefits Competitive Compensation: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour Stable full‑time schedule Professional team environment Long‑term career growth opportunities Medical & dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts & service Supplemental insurance plans Employee recognition programs Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Schedule Monday – Saturday One day off during the week 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Build Your Career with VIP Automotive Group If you are an experienced Automotive Biller, DMV Clerk, Title Clerk, or Automotive Accounting Professional looking for a stable career with a growing dealer group, we encourage you to apply today.
