Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs within the rehabilitation setting.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced therapeutic equipment.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as required to meet therapeutic goals and improve patient outcomes.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, educating them on proper techniques to maximize effectiveness and prevent injuries.
• Equip patients with assistive devices as necessary, ensuring they understand how to use them safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care; share valuable insights and updates with physicians, caregivers, and other health professionals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and staying current with industry literature and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure in Florida).

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required.
