We’re opening something special. Armada, Atlas Restaurant Group’s newest concept in Annapolis, is looking for a Sous Chef to help bring this vision to life from day one. As Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to the Executive Chef and a driving force behind the Back of House. What You’ll Do Partner with the Executive Chef to lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team Execute and elevate dishes that align with our culinary vision—every plate, every time Keep the kitchen running smoothly, efficiently, and with purpose during service Train, coach, and support team members to bring out their best Create schedules, manage workflow, and keep the team focused and on track Jump in to lead the line and direct food preparation when needed Collaborate on menu development, tastings, and new dish creation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen that meets all standards How You’ll Lead Set the standard for quality, consistency, and presentation Foster a positive, accountable, and team-first culture Delegate with intention—prep, cleaning, and daily tasks that keep us moving Ensure all equipment is operating properly and troubleshoot when needed Uphold and enforce policies while leading with fairness and respect Operational Excellence Support inventory management, ordering, and product rotation Help achieve and maintain budgeted kitchen costs Ensure timely execution without compromising quality Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Stay adaptable—pivot, problem-solve, and improvise as service demands What You Bring 2–4 years of high-volume dining experience A passion for food, leadership, and continuous improvement Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards The ability to lead under pressure while keeping a positive, professional presence A team-first mindset with a drive to develop others Total Rewards Base salary range: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually, aligned with your experience, leadership scope, and the impact you bring to the business.
