Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues.

• Develop personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, addressing their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, therapeutic interventions, and self-care strategies to foster resilience and empowerment.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals within our clinic to coordinate integrated care for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research regarding mood disorders and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing mood disorders, ranging from adolescents to adults. Many clients may also face additional challenges such as co-occurring disorders or trauma, necessitating a tailored approach to therapy that considers each individual's specific circumstances and cultural background.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacological principles, allowing for seamless collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
