Baker Botts L.L.P. is seeking an Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation (ECEB) Associate for our Dallas, Houston, or New York office. Candidates should have 2–7 years of experience, ideally in a large law firm, advising on equity plans, executive employment agreements, and compensation and benefits matters arising in M&A, carve‑outs, IPOs, and other transactions. Strong academics and an interest in a collaborative, national practice are required. This is a high‑visibility role with significant access to leadership, working directly with partners across offices and supporting both our Corporate and Tax groups on complex, often cross‑border transactions. You’ll gain early ownership of workstreams, exposure to high‑value matters, and the opportunity to help shape a growing practice. The position offers meaningful mentorship, sophisticated work, and a clear path for long‑term growth and advancement. For positions based in the NYC office of Baker Botts L.L.P., the salary range is $235,000 to $420,000 and depends on a candidate’s experience.
