Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have four to five years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits, particularly in corporate transactions and financial restructurings. Duties Advise on executive compensation and benefits in corporate transactions. Handle securities aspects of executive compensation, including public company disclosure. Collaborate with public and private companies, private equity, and fund clients. Address compensation and benefit plan issues in mergers and acquisitions. Ensure compliance with corporate governance and tax regulations. Requirements Four to five years of relevant experience. Experience with corporate transactions and financial restructurings. Stellar academic credentials preferred. Comparable law firm experience preferred. Availability to work in person. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
