Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing a telehealth platform to provide care to our clients. Team members are expected to maintain regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the specific needs of your young clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health disorders, ensuring each approach is tailored appropriately.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a coordinated approach to treatment, enhancing the overall care of clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, offering vital support and guidance.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in the healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years, addressing various mental health challenges that affect their emotional and behavioral development. Our focus is on creating a nurturing and safe environment, where young individuals can explore their feelings and receive guidance tailored to their age and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices.

• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy, particularly with young populations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and record-keeping.

Compensation and Benefits\n
