Adventureland Park - Park Services Host - 18+ (Rehire)

About the Role As an equal‑opportunity employer, we provide a welcoming environment for all employees. We are seeking a Park Services Host for Adventureland Park (18+). The host ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the park’s indoor and outdoor areas. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of park, including outdoor areas, offices, restrooms, food stands, ride areas, lockers, etc. Execute cleaning tasks as outlined in training and Standard Operating Procedures. Complete regular and rotating weekly cleaning tasks during shift periods. Clean and disinfect public areas, including walkways, restrooms, doors, lockers, etc. Provide exceptional guest service, assisting guests with questions or issues. Keep pathways litter‑free, return food trays, maintain clean condiment areas. Ensure trash receptacles are clean, spill‑free, and emptied regularly. Check and replace supplies such as toilet paper and soap dispensers. Sweep, mop, scrub interior floors. Operate trash compactor and golf‑carts or other motorized equipment. Perform basic maintenance tasks (unclogging toilets, changing light bulbs). Preserve landscaping (pull weeds, water flowers) and clean benches and flowerbeds. Handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals and supplies safely. Protect guests’ belongings; deliver lost and found items promptly. Proactively monitor the park for safety hazards. Maintain records of work completed and safety inspections. Ensure ADA standards are met. Complete all other duties and special projects assigned by leadership. Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license if operating vehicles. Ability to safely operate motorized equipment. Compliance with uniform policies. Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and professional image. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to resolve issues in a positive manner. Ability to follow directions, multi‑task, and work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills in English; Spanish or other bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods. Remain on feet for majority of the workday. Carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Use hands to grasp, control, move objects or tools. Visual acuity to see details of objects several feet away. Working Conditions Exposure to outdoor and indoor park environments in varying weather conditions. Frequent repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and crowds. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and bloodborne pathogens. Proper PPE required.
