Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health clinician at our center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, developing trusting and professional relationships while upholding ethical standards.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to monitor progress, discuss stability, and plan for future appointments or discharges when necessary.
\n
• Designing, implementing, and evaluating person-centered treatment plans that align with individual client goals.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment modifications in compliance with healthcare regulations.
\n
• Performing initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine the appropriateness of services.
\n
• Conducting weekly individual therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• Engaging in individual supervision sessions aimed at ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate holistic care for clients.

• Adopting a growth mindset to foster continuous self-improvement and enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on serving young individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. You will be integral in helping them develop coping strategies and achieve positive behavioral changes, ultimately contributing to their long-term mental health success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• Proficiency in meeting standards for internal credentialing within relevant clinical settings.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or clients dealing with substance abuse issues.

• Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and the provision of both individual and group therapy.

• Technological proficiency, including familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic computer skills.
