Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that address each client’s specific mental health needs.

• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy tailored to the client's presenting concerns.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and families, ensuring that every client receives compassionate and informed care.

• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to support client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in mental health practices, ensuring that your clients receive the most effective care possible.

• Collaborate with a dedicated treatment team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Unity Point, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. We serve various groups such as couples, families, and individuals, providing specialized support that aligns with their unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in therapeutic practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance-based bonus opportunities.
