Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, tailored to individual client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to effectively identify clients' stressors, professional goals, and challenges, ensuring personalized and targeted therapeutic practices.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, empowering them to cultivate self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies to enhance community support.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy to address specific mental health concerns, ultimately fostering a holistic approach to client care.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to integrate mindfulness into a cohesive treatment plan for each client, promoting comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults seeking assistance with stress management, anxiety, depression, and various mental health challenges. By employing mindfulness-based techniques, you will help clients develop essential coping strategies, leading to improved emotional balance and overall wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster a supportive and calming therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
