Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans that align with client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in group therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, fostering a space for open dialogue and healing.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a coordinated approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s needs are addressed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to all ethical and legal standards while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and research to stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. This includes clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to connect with these populations, understand their unique circumstances, and provide tailored therapeutic interventions will be critical in promoting their mental and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Pennsylvania.

• A solid foundation in legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.
