Kubernetes Ecosystem Business Development Manager

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Kubernetes Ecosystem Business Development Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of technology and ISV (independent software vendor) partnerships for our VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) division. The successful candidate will develop an ecosystem of partners who test and certify their containerized software for deployment on VCF using our vSphere Kubernetes Service. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies combined with strong skills in driving CTO-level conversations, end-to-end business development activities, and complex, cross-group collaborations will be required to deliver business results.As a key member of our strategic technology and ISV partner team, you will be responsible for:Develop new technology and ISV partnerships to expand our ecosystem of software partners who interoperate with our platformProactively engage with technology and ISV partners on the value proposition of VKS for our ecosystem and customersDeveloping and managing our Tech/ISV VKS validation program, assets and collateralDriving work streams and deliverables to enable product interoperability by collaborating across partner and VCF product, engineering, and marketing teamsIdentifying and driving additional opportunities for joint solution differentiation and route to market activationsManaging collaborations across cross-functional teamsSupporting our Technology Alliance Program (TAP) and membersClearly and concisely reporting and communicating business results and metricsQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of professional experience in partner management, business development or related roles in technologyProven track record of driving successful technology and/or ISV partner engagements through strategic initiativesPrior Kubernetes experience, deep expertise in container technologies and the knowledge of the business benefits of these technologies for software developmentExperience collaborating with product, engineering and marketing personnel to drive co-innovation and co-marketing activities with technology partnersVMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere Kubernetes Service and other Kubernetes platform product knowledge, including Red Hat OpenShift, would be a distinct advantageRelationship-driven, self-starter with a strong dedication to collaboration and the ability to build credibility across multiple stakeholdersPersonal Characteristics will include:Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated, creative, collaborative, and results-orientedStrong negotiation and influencing skillsAn enthusiastic and motivated individual who is visibly passionate about technology and can attract and form lasting relationshipsMust have legal authorization to work in the US.Must work in the office, remote work is not allowed for this position.Broadcom is a leading technology company dedicated to fostering strong partnerships to drive mutual growth and success in the market.
