Gastroenterology Health & Science Specialist - Atlanta S, GA

Pfizer seeks a field-based specialty sales professional to drive gastroenterology product launches and growth through strategic healthcare provider relationships in the Atlanta, Georgia territory. The role combines compliant promotional activities, disease-state expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to expand appropriate patient identification and access to GI therapies.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with healthcare providers
• Build compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff; deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging
• Identify account opportunities, prioritize territories, and support patient access via reimbursement and co-pay resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and key opinion leaders to execute promotional strategies and advance business objectives
• Use digital tools and data insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities and formulary access

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree with 8+ years work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales experience in gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation
• Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, specialty reimbursement, and distribution
• Demonstrated data-driven decision-making and strategic thinking with digital engagement capability

Compensation: $108,600 - $250,700 base annual salary plus sales incentive bonus
