Gastroenterology Health & Science Specialist - Brooklyn, NY

Pfizer seeks a field-based specialty sales representative for gastroenterology products in the Brooklyn/Queens area. The role involves driving product launch and growth through compliant healthcare provider engagement, disease education, and patient access support while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with healthcare providers
- Build compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff; deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging
- Identify account opportunities and prioritize territory activities using product, disease, and market knowledge
- Support patient access by providing reimbursement information, hub resources, and co-pay assistance
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and key opinion leaders to address customer needs and advance business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with 8+ years work experience or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record and no DUI/DWI in past 7 years
- Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all accounts
- 3–5 years specialty sales experience preferably in gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation
- Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, specialty reimbursement, and distribution processes
- Digital engagement capability and comfort with hybrid selling models
Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base salary plus sales incentive bonus
