You will have the autonomy to create your daily schedule, with a commitment to maintain a minimum of 30 hours of client-facing work each week.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at El Centro, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial consultations and assessments for couples and families to identify treatment needs and goals.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to clients of various ages and backgrounds.

• Assisting family units through specialized programs aimed at prenatal substance exposure and adoption issues.

• Facilitating parenting support groups and offering educational workshops for parents and caregivers to enhance their skills.

• Completing developmental evaluations of children to identify potential psychological or emotional challenges.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including social workers, educators, and legal professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on serving diverse populations, including couples, families, and individual clients, particularly those who have been impacted by substance use issues and challenging transitions, such as adoption. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
