This role offers the flexibility of remote work from Galveston, Texas, while serving clients in school settings where their families can receive our support. Your work hours will typically fall between Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, though some flexibility is expected to accommodate client needs. Additionally, there may be occasions where evening or weekend hours are necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the psychosocial needs of seniors, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social well-being.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring goals reflect individual needs and preferences.

• Provide empathetic counseling and emotional support, helping seniors navigate life transitions, health issues, and challenges.

Your primary focus will be on seniors, addressing their unique circumstances and needs within the school environment. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is required, applicants with experience in school-based social work, and backgrounds working directly with seniors or in geriatric care are strongly preferred. Familiarity with community resources available to seniors and knowledge of local health regulations will also be beneficial.
