Key Responsibilities\n

The LPC will engage in a range of responsibilities aimed at fostering client improvement. Key tasks include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, building strong rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to facilitate effective counseling.

• Regularly meeting with clients to evaluate their progress, assess stability, and plan upcoming appointments or discharges when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring personalized treatment plans with each client, tailored to their specific needs.

• Maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client encounter, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to determine the initial needs and goals of new clients.

• Facilitating individual counseling sessions on a weekly basis, using evidence-based practices to support client growth.

• Participating in individual supervision and peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and shared learning among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets youth populations, meaning counselors will predominantly work with children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
