Key Responsibilities\n

• Efficiently communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding client progress, needs, and concerns. This includes participating in interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary to optimize care delivery.

• Maintain detailed and timely clinical records and progress notes in accordance with departmental policies, ensuring compliance and quality assurance standards are met.

• Provide immediate and effective support in crisis situations, conducting assessments to identify urgent needs and formulating crises intervention strategies.

• Conduct regular assessments of clients’ progress toward treatment goals and collaboratively adjust care plans with clients to meet their evolving needs.

• Engage with families and significant support systems to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans, ensuring a holistic approach to client wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with substance abuse, mental health challenges, and various psychosocial issues. As a clinician working at our detox center, you will provide compassionate care to clients in the early stages of recovery, guiding them through initial assessments and tailoring interventions to foster long-term sobriety and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent certification is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient therapeutic setting is necessary, with a demonstrated capacity to assess and address various psychological issues.

• Capable of working independently with a self-motivated and highly organized approach, demonstrating strong time management skills.

• Proficient in using technology for client management, including electronic medical records and telehealth platforms; familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing is preferred.
