Situated in a prime location in Riverside, our approximately 5000 square foot sports medicine clinic is equipped with advanced therapy tools and technology. Our team includes two skilled physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that elevates patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our outpatient office, where our supportive and respectful workplace culture sets the stage for success. Our team works closely together, providing an environment that encourages continuous professional development and shared knowledge. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, thereby allowing a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring our clients receive consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and objectives by utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Manage a caseload with a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, personalized care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating a wide array of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Implement and adapt exercise regimens to promote mobility and functional independence.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
• Document patient care details and outcomes meticulously within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically using platforms like WebPT.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery pathways.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Encourage patients by fostering a positive rehabilitation environment, motivating them to achieve their maximum potential.
• Participate in continuous education to stay current with industry trends, treatment techniques, and innovations in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus entails working with a diverse range of patients, primarily those with private medical insurance, who seek relief and recovery from orthopedic conditions. We cater to a variety of needs, from post-surgical rehabilitation to treatment for sports-related injuries, and aim to accommodate each individual's personal recovery goals, ensuring a tailored approach for every patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California is mandatory.
• Possess a clean record, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and patient-centered care practices is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Proficient with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation and workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
