Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite , providing therapy in the comfort and familiarity of patients' homes. You will work collaboratively with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, engaging in a supportive environment that values innovation and teamwork. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM , allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, identifying key goals for recovery.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing diverse techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically handling one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and focused attention.
• Monitor and document patient progress, including treatment efficacy and necessary modifications to care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate education on injury prevention, wellness strategies, and rehabilitation techniques to empower patients in their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their journey, impacting their progress and engagement with therapy.
• Minimize the reliance on medications and surgical interventions by providing effective alternative treatment solutions.
• Maintain meticulous records of all clinical documentation to comply with organizational policies and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, facilitating their recovery and improving their quality of life through targeted therapy programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no prior disciplinary actions or board measures.
• Demonstrated competency in orthopedic manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience working with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to track patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate and inspire patients.
• Proficiency in developing exercise regimens that cater to individual patient needs.
• A proven track record of enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits
