Director of Sales - Ferroalloys

The area of Materials Services spans two strategic areas: global materials distribution as one-stop-shop – from steel and stainless steel, tubes and pipes, nonferrous metals and specialty materials to plastics and raw materials – and tailored services in the areas of materials management and supply chain management. An extensive omnichannel architecture offers 250,000 customers worldwide cross‑channel, round‑the‑clock access to more than 150,000 products and services. A highly efficient logistics system ensures that all requested services are smoothly integrated into customer production processes “just‑in‑time” or “just‑in‑sequence”. Job Summary Direct and manage all sales, marketing, and business development operations within the Ferroalloys business segment, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution strategy. Drive the Company’s achievement of its growth and profitability goals. Job Description Key Accountabilities: Oversee the development of the sales organization for the Ferroalloys product line or region. Drive the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies specific to Ferroalloys markets and customer segments. Hire, train, manage, and develop the sales force and supporting administrative staff. Benchmark pricing data and develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions within Ferroalloys market dynamics. Maintain and grow key customer relationships within the Ferroalloys and related metals industries. Manage overall sales process and set appropriate metrics for sales management. This is a position that works directly on or around motor vehicle equipment. Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area of study. At least seven years sales and marketing experience in the Ferroalloys, metals, mining, or closely related commodities industry. Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment. Established contacts and relationships within comparable industries. Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
