This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while primarily serving clients from a detox center. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and easily adapt to various digital communication platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Clinical Engagement: Conduct assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients facing significant emotional challenges. You will carry a manageable caseload and ensure that every treatment plan is effective and client-centered.

• Collaborative Care Planning: Create and implement integrated care plans that align with clients’ treatment goals, ensuring seamless access to appropriate linked services. Regularly communicate important insights with clients, families, and external providers to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Safety and Compliance: Identify and report any unsafe situations while adhering to ethical and professional guidelines established by Mindful Empowerment. Responsible for the timely completion of paperwork, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

• Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, assisting clients in navigating challenging situations effectively.

• Outreach and Advocacy: Engage actively in outreach efforts and represent the organization at community events to strengthen our focus on health equity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily serve clients from diverse backgrounds who are often experiencing acute symptoms related to major mental illnesses and emotional disorders. Recognizing the complexity of their situations, you will utilize evidence-based practices and culturally responsive methods to address their unique needs and promote recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records or similar documentation systems.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a dedication to improving client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a detox or addiction recovery center will be highly regarded. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and a history of engaging with underserved populations are also beneficial. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as they can enhance our service outreach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
