Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing routine and full-cycle accounts payable activities using a working knowledge of accounting principles and company practices. This role works under the supervision of the Staff Accountant to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant financial records. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities Process full-cycle accounts payable Review and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and documentation Prepare and execute weekly vendor payments Post transactions and resolve invoice, purchase order, and payment discrepancies Manage company credit card program, including expense coding and payments Maintain vendor relationships Maintain organized electronic records per record retention policies Calculate, report, and remit sales tax on paid invoices Process approximately 300 to 400 invoices per month Prepare and process annual 1099 forms Perform monthly expense analysis Additional Responsibilities Assist with accounting procedures, documentation, and forms Generate miscellaneous invoices and credit memos Collaborate with internal teams as needed Skills and Qualifications 1+ years of accounts payable experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficient data entry skills Experience with ERP systems required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Nice to have Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or services environments Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401K (up to 5%), PTO
