Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, documenting findings accurately.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences, reviewing them regularly to ensure effectiveness.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the healing process.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and by adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care, discussing treatment plans and progress towards recovery.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to refine therapeutic practices continually.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the integrity of client records.

• Participate in professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and collaborative training sessions.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness around mental health stigmas and supporting clients in overcoming barriers to access care.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
