Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Avis Behavioral Health Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for couples and families, addressing their unique concerns.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that may involve couples working together and individual sessions when necessary, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a range of issues, including alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, adjustment to separation and divorce, and communication difficulties.

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in our electronic health record system, adhering to all confidentiality and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and contribute to the overall improvement of patients' mental health outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing various mental health challenges within their family units. Your expertise will be essential in navigating sensitive issues such as:

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active LMFT license in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
