Work Environment\n

This position operates in a predominantly remote work setting, affording you the opportunity to engage with clients from various backgrounds in a comfortable and supportive environment. You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient case management and communication with colleagues. While most interactions will occur online, you will also be a key part of our outpatient facility in San Francisco, participating in team meetings and collaborative discussions to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health symptoms, challenges, and history, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.

• Therapeutic Planning: Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally sensitive, focusing on a wide range of mental health issues.

• Ongoing Support: Conduct regular therapy sessions—both individual and group—to monitor client progress, address emerging issues, and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care, making referrals as needed for medication management or additional resources.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of sessions and progress within our EHR system, adhering to all ethical guidelines and state regulations regarding confidentiality.

• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing crises, utilizing advanced crisis management techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds will be critical in developing trust and rapport necessary for effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based practice modalities, and cultural sensitivity in therapy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to foster lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in EHR technology and computer applications to streamline administrative duties.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
