Make a direct impact by supporting middle school students in a 6th-8th grade RISE self-contained classroom on a full-time contract basis. This opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the full school year, working with learners who benefit from dedicated special education expertise. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification as required by Illinois
• Classroom experience with 6th-8th grade students preferred
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and inclusion
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with behavior intervention, IEP development, and data-driven instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to middle school students in a RISE self-contained setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address specific learning needs and goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Foster a safe, consistent, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with other educators, service providers, and families
• Maintain compliance with all state and school requirements for documentation, assessment, and reporting
