Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Document clinical interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including consultations with psychiatrists and social workers when necessary.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed of the latest developments in mental health.

• Maintain an empathetic and open approach with clients, providing a space for them to share their challenges and triumphs.

• Assist clients in identifying personal goals and develop strategies for achieving them.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
