The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the National Sales Director. The individual in this role is responsible for developing and managing sales of Brief Relief products in the Midwest/Northwest region to include the following states (OR, WA, AK, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, IA, MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY.

The Regional Sales Manager will develop business by effective planning, executing, and managing activities to drive sales growth in the following areas:

\n

* New Accounts - identify, develop, educate, and bring on new customers

\n

* Existing Accounts – manage, develop, educate, and grow our existing business

\n

* Distribution Partners – manage, educate, build relationships, and grow revenues

The Brief Relief line of sanitation products are used in multiple industries including gas, electric and telecommunications utilities, municipal departments, law enforcement, fire and EMS, government agencies, military, transportation, mining, construction, and all markets that utilize outside work forces.

Position Specifics:  We’re looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, outgoing and independent person with minimal daily supervision. Also requires knowledge of business issues, experience in the industrial industry to include calling on utility, telecom, cable and contractors. Persuasive and consultative communication skills. Must reside close to or in Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus or Cincinnati

*Prefer candidates with knowledge of how field employees operate within the industrial environment to include telecommunication, utility organizations and distributors and rep groups that support them*

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will utilize the consultative sales process established by the company to generate significant sales growth in their region. Overnight travel is required within the region as well as outside the region for tradeshows and meetings at the corporate office in Southern California.

\n

The Regional Sales Manager will make presentations to all levels within a prospect company from executive, first- and second-line management, tool and material committees, first line supervisor and end users. The position also requires presentations, strategic planning, management, training and education of distribution partners management and sales teams.

\n

The RSM will agree to meet both individual and company goals of achieving sales goals and company initiatives. Individual will be responsible to update all activity in the CRM and prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reports on sales activities.

\n

The RSM will work from their home utilizing a combination of company paid office equipment and business-related services. All business expenses will be reimbursed, and the position requires a vehicle and valid driver’s license.

\n

We prefer candidates to have a bachelor’s degree. We require five years related experience in solution selling. Candidates must have effective verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in basic computer programs such as Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CRM and Social Media (LinkedIn) platforms.

Base salary: Base salary $90-100k DOE

\n

With base pay and annual sales incentive plan, $125k per year is very achievable.
