Accounting Assistant

Client Overview Our client, a well-established organization in the non-profit sector, is looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate $18/hr - $20/hr Position Overview Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support financial operations through accurate data entry, account reconciliation, and document management. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities Of The Accounting Assistant Perform data entry for invoices, payments, and financial transactions using QuickBooks and other productivity software. Manage filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible. Support bookkeeping activities by reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records. Assist with calendar management and office administrative tasks as needed. Maintain close attention to detail in all financial documentation and data processing. Required Experience/Skills For The Accounting Assistant Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. Strong computer literacy and excellent typing skills. Experience with office management practices, including filing systems and data entry. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Accounting Assistant Previous office experience with a focus on clerical or administrative roles is highly preferred. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
