Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, documenting each client's history and treatment journey accurately.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and ongoing evaluations to address mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring intervention strategies to meet the needs of various demographics, including couples, families, and groups.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment plans, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with other healthcare professionals as needed.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, particularly for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Implement relapse prevention strategies and education, enabling clients and families to recognize behaviors that may hinder recovery.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers in managing mental and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A successful score on the NCE, NCMHCE, or other relevant examinations.

• Proven experience in a mental health counseling role with a strong clinical background.

• Comprehensive understanding of both physical and emotional health conditions, including substance use disorders.

• Proficient in applying best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for effective client engagement.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature to build trust with clients.
