Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional focus. Our telehealth facility is equipped with secure, user-friendly technology to facilitate effective therapy sessions. You will enjoy a flexible work schedule primarily between Monday and Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with some adaptations based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and establish effective treatment plans.

• Create and execute individualized therapeutic strategies aimed at promoting recovery and enhancing coping mechanisms.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your practice.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate patient healing and encourage healthy processing of traumatic experiences.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support, especially during acute trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Ensure meticulous documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards for patient records.

• Participate in regular team meetings, care consultations, and professional development sessions, staying abreast of the latest advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by a range of trauma-related conditions, including PTSD and complex trauma. Many of our clients are active survivors looking for understanding and support as they navigate the complexities of their experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools related to mental health care.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on adopting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a strong emphasis on trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in various trauma-informed treatment modalities and a solid understanding of resilience-building practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
