Job Description Job Title: Paralegal / Intake Coordinator Location: Newark, NJ Salary: $55,000+ (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Paralegal / Intake Coordinator to join a fast-paced legal team. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients while also supporting attorneys with case preparation and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and able to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Intake Coordination Serve as the initial point of contact for new client inquiries via phone, email, and online submissions Conduct client intake interviews and gather relevant case information Evaluate and screen potential cases based on firm criteria Enter and manage client data within the firm’s case management system Schedule consultations and follow up with prospective clients Paralegal Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting documents and correspondence Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic Request and review medical records, reports, and other case-related documentation Track deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a legal, paralegal, or intake role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of cases Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software Experience in personal injury or related practice areas is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment Office-based position in Newark, NJ Fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment Regular interaction with clients and legal professionals Why Join This Opportunity Competitive salary starting at $55,000+ Opportunity for growth within a dynamic legal team Collaborative and supportive work environment If you’re looking to build your legal career in a role that combines client interaction with hands-on casework, we encourage you to apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals
