Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work flexibility through our telehealth services, making it easier to schedule appointments and provide therapy from anywhere in Virginia. Our operational model emphasizes connectivity, ensuring that both staff and clients benefit from high-quality communication tools and best practices in digital healthcare. Although the primary hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to gauge patients' psychological health and collaborate on treatment options.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's specific needs and mental health diagnosis.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to guide individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy, helping clients address emotional concerns, cultivate personal growth, and enhance resilience through effective coping strategies.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver holistic patient care and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment plans, and resources available in the community.
\n
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation.

• Participate in team meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and contributing to group decision-making.

• Stay informed about the latest trends in mental health treatment, adapting practices to align with evolving research and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active Mental Health License as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and experience with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Strong assessments skills with the capability to create effective treatment plans based on analysis.

• Solid communication skills to foster rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure seamless documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical or therapeutic setting.

• Familiarity with both individual and group therapy delivery, employing a range of approaches based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
