Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates in a remote capacity, yet you will collaborate closely with educators, families, and school staff to provide on-site school-based therapy. The working hours are structured Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a predictable schedule while allowing for flexibility in addressing student needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver personalized one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Assess and respond effectively to behavioral health concerns, including crisis situations, utilizing established protocols and community resources.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement care plans that promote students' mental health and academic success.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Incorporate trauma-informed care principles and inclusive strategies to foster a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working directly with K–12 students who may be dealing with various emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and trauma. Your expertise will guide them in developing coping strategies that improve their social and academic experiences, supporting their growth both inside and outside of the classroom.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent in the state of California.
\n
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in an age-appropriate manner.

• Demonstrated capacity to engage in collaborative relationships with educators, families, and community resources.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing mental health services in school-based or similar settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
