Business Development Officer

Role Overview We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to maintain and expand activities across County Durham, supporting people aged 50+ in achieving healthy and prosperous later life. Responsibilities Develop and facilitate co‑produced provision for older people. Engage communities in needs‑led development and activities. Organise, plan and deliver programmes that are inclusive and impactful. Generate positive effects that help individuals move toward their desired quality of life. Qualifications Experience working with older people. Strong communication skills, empathy, patience and positivity. Excellent organisational and planning abilities. Ability to secure and maintain an Enhanced DBS check. Contract & Benefits Permanent contract. Full or part time. Salary £27,345 per annum with up to 5% pension contributions.
