Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and devise individualized therapy plans to assist them in reaching their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Cross-Disciplinary Teams: Work in unison with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic and comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families effective therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
