Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and current mental health needs.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilizing evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated and holistic care for your patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, necessary coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with established legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Staying updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and related conditions. You will engage with a diverse client population, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each individual. Your expertise and empathy will play a fundamental role in their journeys toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Georgia.

• A solid foundation of knowledge regarding various trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Strong capabilities in maintaining composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we are particularly interested in candidates who:

Compensation and Benefits\n
