Work Environment\n

This role allows for a remote work setting, enabling our mental health counselors to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments. While primarily offering telehealth services, the position may require occasional visits to our outpatient office in Brooklyn for team meetings and performance reviews. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs, ensuring our therapists can effectively meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the needs and preferences of each patient, followed by the development of tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective counseling sessions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that not only address common mental health challenges but also foster a sense of community and connection among participants.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective supportive care.

• Engage in patient education, helping clients understand their mental health conditions, treatment options, and local resources available for additional support.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
