Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couple therapy sessions, including assessments and interventions that address various relational and personal challenges.

• Creating and implementing treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, while ensuring alignment with best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Providing therapy for a range of issues, including but not limited to: alcohol and substance abuse, psychological and physical abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job-related stress, and communication difficulties.

• Facilitating family therapy sessions, with an emphasis on improving communication and resolving conflicts among family members.
\n
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of patient interactions, using our state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on diverse clients ranging from individuals to families experiencing emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. You will cater to adults as well as child and adolescent populations, providing a broad spectrum of therapeutic services. Understanding the unique dynamics of blended families, interpersonal conflicts, and life transitions will be key in your role.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• Valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential issued by the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n
