This position offers a completely remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients through telehealth platforms. However, all electronic communications and documentation must be conducted within the healthcare systems we utilize, adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality agreements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess and identify signs and symptoms of mental health disorders in clients and apply appropriate, evidence-based treatment interventions.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that outline specific goals and measurable outcomes, updating them as necessary based on client progress and feedback.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions via teletherapy, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy.

• Maintain strict confidentiality for all client interactions and ensure ethical standards are upheld throughout the therapeutic process.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to enhance the quality of care and address varying aspects of a client's life.

• Act as an advocate during crisis interventions, demonstrating skills in conflict resolution and emergency management while ensuring client safety.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including supervision and training, to stay current with industry best practices and expand clinical knowledge.

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An active LMFT license in the state of California, with no record of disciplinary actions.

• Proficiency in various therapeutic models and techniques tailored to meet the needs of clients with mental health conditions and relational issues.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with clients and diverse staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Northwell Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company contributions.
