Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Point Observation in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel. Help support the orderly movement of people and vehicles throughout the location while following applicable post orders and reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
