Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Columbus, OH Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing guests and staff in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
