Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions through thorough physical examinations and patient histories, developing individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of orthopedic issues, promoting optimal recovery and restoration of function.
• Employ a holistic approach to treatment by integrating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education to facilitate healing.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment goals, progress, and home exercise programs.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring alignment with established benchmarks and utilization goals.
• Contribute to team meetings and interdisciplinary care discussions designed to enhance patient outcomes and overall clinic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic cases. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and neuromuscular conditions. You will have the opportunity to employ your expertise in treating patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique goals and challenges.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA or CAPTE.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using word processing and basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Working with orthopedic patient populations, including those with post-operative recovery needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a solid base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
