Work Environment

Located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, our rehabilitation center provides an onsite setting where you can engage directly with patients in a supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals who share your commitment to excellence in physical therapy. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while continuing to provide premium care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical abilities and limitations, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions that enhance strength, mobility, and pain management.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing for quality interaction with each individual and fostering strong therapist-patient relationships.
• Incorporate various manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities to facilitate rehabilitation and expedite recovery.
• Promote non-invasive treatment options, focusing on minimizing the use of medications and advocating for surgical alternatives only when necessary.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on exercise programs designed to improve their overall fitness levels and prevent re-injury.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care effectively.
• Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their milestones and improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse client base includes athletes of all ages seeking to regain strength and movement, as well as older adults focusing on improving their mobility and functionality to enhance their quality of life. You will play a key role in guiding them toward optimal recovery and independence through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board actions in any state.
• Strong clinical knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Exceptional skills in a variety of manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to maintain detailed patient records.
• A passion for ongoing professional development, staying current with evidence-based practices and methodologies in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient clinics or sports medicine facilities is highly desirable.
• A background working with diverse populations, including athletes and elderly patients.
• Proven track record in developing and leading successful exercise rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
