Bookkeeper

We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting, and administrative processes for a growing residential construction company. This role supports both financial accuracy and operational efficiency across remodeling and new construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all bookkeeping in Quickbooks
• Process accounts payable (Vendor bills) and accounts receivables (client invoicing)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts
• Coordinate with CPA for tax filings and monthly reporting
• Allocate labor, materials, subcontractor, and overhead correctly
• Prepare weekly AR / AP reports to leadership team
• Engage with HR to process job costing payroll
• Maintain company fleet records
• Maintain general business records (License, insurance, etc.)
• Monitor cash position and support forecasting

Skills/Requirements:

• 5+years of bookkeeping / accounting experience
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Advanced QuickBooks experience (QB Online)
• Experience with Job costing
• Strong Microsoft office experience, especially Excel
• Highly organized and comfortable working across finance and operations
• Construction software experience (Buildertrend) or ability to learn quickly
