Excel Specialist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Help improve how large language models create, understand, and modify Office Open XML documents by applying expert-level Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. You will design realistic business scenarios, produce and evaluate complex .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx files, and provide detailed preference data and feedback that guide model improvements. No prior AI experience is required.

• Design and simulate challenging, realistic business scenarios that require advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, reflecting tasks from your professional experience.
• Engage in structured, multi-turn conversations with an LLM, present complex document-related prompts, and evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Create and review Office documents in .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx formats, and assess two AI-generated solutions against professional standards to select the preferred output.
• Document feedback and deliver side-by-side preference data focused on quality, accuracy, and business relevance to inform model improvements.
• Provide domain-specific insight across industries and business functions so the collected data covers diverse, real-world use cases.
• Communicate clearly and thoughtfully in both written and verbal formats to ensure precise understanding and actionable feedback for the training team.

• Required skills: Microsoft Excel, Office Open XML (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx), Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, business analysis, document review, scenario design, analytical thinking, written communication, verbal communication.
• Preferred minimum: 3+ years of professional experience working in Fortune 500 or similarly complex environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high-impact business projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations across industries such as finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
• Relevant backgrounds include roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist, with hands-on deal or project experience.
• Experience designing use cases for functions such as strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to evaluate nuanced differences in document quality and business applicability.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long-form prompts for AI tools is a strong plus, but not required.
