Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting individual and couple's therapy sessions, evaluating clients’ needs and designing personalized treatment plans.

• Providing therapy to families facing issues such as grief, substance abuse, communication difficulties, and conflicts among family members.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based methodologies to facilitate healing and personal growth, while documenting all progress and treatments in secure electronic health record systems.

• Collaborating with colleagues and referring agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Engaging in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will include a diverse range of clients, including couples, families, and individuals experiencing a variety of challenges such as:

• Adjustment issues stemming from separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics.
\n
• Co-occurring disorders related to substance abuse and mental health.
\n
• Grief and loss, navigating these profound changes with compassion and expertise.

• Family conflicts, including mother/daughter conflicts and communication difficulties among siblings.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A valid and active LMFT license issued by the state of California.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

The successful applicant will demonstrate at least one year of clinical experience in providing therapy services, along with the ability to adapt to different client needs. Experience in telehealth practices and a familiarity with electronic health records will be an advantage. A flexible schedule, allowing for availability for both daytime and evening appointments, is desirable.
